Opening Day Ceremonies

Opening Day Ceremony will be held at MILA 2 at 9:00AM on Saturday March 3.
Please plan to arrive by 8:30 to gather up as a team.  Teams will need to be assembled on the field prior to 9:00AM.  Parking at MILA on Opening Day can be challenging, so plan to arrive with plenty of time.

Players should wear their uniforms. Stay tuned for more details from your team manager and/or team mom about uniform distribution.

Team & individual pictures will be taken following the ceremony.  More details to follow.

The fun really begins when we kick off our season with the first games of the season!  The Major & Minor 1 division will play a round robin style tournament with a series of shortened games allowing all the teams in each division the opportunity to face off against each other.  The Minor 2 & Tee Ball divisions will also have an opportunity to show their stuff with baseball jamborees in each division.  These younger divisions will also play a round robin format with shortened games allowing each team to play one another.  See below for locations:

Stay tuned for times, but plan for the games to start following the ceremony.

It's going to be a great day of baseball fun & community spirit!!!

This season, we will once again be doing our soda donation drive. All league families are kindly asked to bring a 12-pack of canned soda as listed by division below to Opening Day. There will be a trailer set-up near the clubhouse to drop off the cases of soda. These donations help stock our concessions, offset expense to our league throughout the season & are very much appreciated!

Tee Ball: Sprite?
Minor 2: Coke, Diet Coke or Coke Zero 
Minor 1: Mountain Dew
Majors: Orange Fanta or Sunkist
Junior: Grape or Strawberry Fanta
Senior: Root Beer or Dr. Pepper


For those who have played Spring season previously & are familiar with some of our other typical Opening Day activities, here are some updates:   1) The program will be revamped into more of a yearbook capturing the season & will be distributed at Closing Day.  Spirit Ads will be available for purchase later in the season.   2) Hit-A-Thon will possibly be held as a Closing Day Event this season to allow players & families more time to gather pledges throughout the season. This has previously been one of our best fundraisers & we are considering ways to make it even better.
